Photobook Dummy Award 2021 is one of the highlights of Hong Kong Photobook Festival, organized by Lumenvisum. Both the Festival and the Award aim to support the emerging artists and provide the opportunities to showcase their works in the international festivals. Photographers, artists and creative talents from all over the world submitted their photobook dummies and more than 30 projects from 12 countries were received. 12 photobook dummies were shortlisted by international jury and the 3 winning dummies are “Clean Hong Kong Action” by Siu Wai-hang, “The Man Who Attends to the Times” by Yim Sui-fong, and “The Dayspring of Eternity” by Lau Chi-chung.
After going to Charta Photobook Festival in Rome and Fotobokfestival Oslo in the summer, the shortlisted dummy books will finally arrive in a box in Aarhus to be shown at PWA2021!
